در Sons of the Forest، شما در نقش یک امدادگر پس از سقوط هواپیما در یک جزیره‌ مرموز و پر از راز گیر می‌افتید. وظیفه شما این است که زنده بمانید، منابع را جمع‌آوری کنید، ابزار بسازید، پناهگاه ایجاد کنید و با موجودات وحشی و آدم‌خواران مبارزه کنید.
